Rates and Insurance

Insurance

Our business office staff is happy to submit claims for our clients to most leading insurance companies; however, it’s important to know that not all of our therapists participate with all insurance companies. Please ask our business office staff if the therapist you’re scheduled to see participates with your particular insurance company before your first visit.

We also recommend contacting your insurance company directly to verify your coverage for mental health services and to ask if you will be responsible for a deductible and/or copay. Your deductible and/or copay is due at the time of service.

We bill the following insurance companies. Please make sure before your first visit with us that your therapist participates with your plan. This list is not all-inclusive, so if your insurance company is not listed below, feel free to call our business office to see if we can submit your claim.

  • Aetna
  • ASR Health Benefits
  • Beacon Health
  • Blue Care Network
  • Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO
  • Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal
  • Humana
  • Magellan
  • Meritain Health
  • Medicare
  • NGS Coresource
  • Priority Health
  • Smart Health
  • Tri-Care
  • United Behavioral Health
  • United Healthcare

Standard rates

Our fee for the first session (Initial Evaluation) for all new clients is $250. Subsequent sessions are $150-250 for individual therapy and $250 for family or couples therapy.

If you’re without insurance and cannot afford private-pay rates for therapy services, please inquire about our services provided by our Clinical Internship Program. Our interns are high-achieving, graduate-level university students providing therapy services under the direct supervision of our Clinical Director, and their fees for service are nominal. If interested, please contact our business office staff at 269-372-4140.

Late cancellation and no-show policy

If you’re unable to attend a scheduled session, be sure to notify your therapist or our business office at 269-372-4140 at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged a late cancellation fee. Insurance does not cover no-shows and late cancellations, so these fees will be your responsibility.

Canceling at least 24 hours in advance gives your therapist an opportunity to offer your time slot to another client who may be waiting to be seen.
