Life can be wonderful but it can also be overwhelming, stressful, sad, and even tragic at times. When working with clients during these difficult times, my first job as a therapist is to instill hope that life and relationships can improve with the right amount of love, empathy, commitment, knowledge, and skills. I have successfully helped many individuals, couples and families cope with some of the most difficult times of their lives. My hope is that I can collaborate with clients by building on their strengths and helping them to identify thought and behavior patterns that are working for them and also patterns that may not be as useful, or possibly even unhealthy. Based upon this information we identify goals and discuss how those goals can be realistically met to help improve their lives.
