“I've often seen life as a big 'school room' in which the lessons can be fascinating, fun, sometimes frustrating, often difficult, and even traumatic. Like you, I've faced times of loss, fear and uncertainty, of transitions, of loneliness. I've had counselors and mentors in my own life, and I've devoted myself to providing help to others for more than 20 years in my own career as a psychotherapist. I feel privileged to be invited into the personal lives and struggles of a wide range of adult individuals and couples, gay and straight, young and old, as they engage in their own journeys toward health, recovery, balance and personal growth.  My contributions toward this process include support and reflection, skill building and guidance as people confront and resolve their issues. As for me, I continue on my own journey with as much love and humor as possible. I keep learning, too, in this big 'school room' of life!”
