"Some parts of life can be hard and confusing. It helps to have a safe, positive setting where one can get support and information, clarify thoughts and feelings, and manage difficulties.  New insights allow people to grow and make new choices so they can improve their lives and the lives of those they care about.

Reading intervention:  Reading difficulties are not all the same.  I assess each reader and develop ways to support strengths and address individual needs.  Reading is the core of each lesson, and all areas are covered, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency and comprehension.  Fun practice leads to mastery of reading skills and strategies."
