Founded in 1989 by Dr. Lawrence Beer, Ed.D., Child and Family Psychological Services (CFPS) has grown to include a diverse group of clinicians committed to providing professional and comprehensive psychological care in a confidential, comfortable setting. The clinical staff of CFPS serves a variety of concerns through individual, couples, family, and group counseling. Psychological evaluations and testing services are also available.
We now have three locations. Our main office is located at 5340 Holiday Terrace in Kalamazoo. You can reach this office by calling (269) 372-4140. We have two additional offices, one located at 6565 West Main Street inside the West Side Medical Center and the other at 1662 E. Centre Street in Portage. The West Side office can be reached by calling (269) 372-2860 and to contact our Centre Street location call (269) 321-8564.
Referrals can be made by contacting the therapist you would like to see at the office in which they are located or by calling our main office on Holiday Terrace. We are willing to assist you with choosing a therapist if you are unsure of who may be the best fit for you or your family.
